Charitable objectives

The objectives of the IISCIM are to promote, encourage or assist in:

  • Spreading and promoting meditation as a scientific discipline.
  • Educating people about the benefits of meditation for physical, mental and social wellbeing.
  • Teaching meditation techniques which are beneficial and have therapeutic effect for curing diseases.
  • Propagating Meditation as a free medicine across the globe, for the treatment of diseases, such as chronic stress, depression, anxiety disorder, stress-related cardio-vascular disorders, and brain-decay through in-depth research within the parameters of modern medical science. This will enable both the rich and poor to avail its benefits in order to attain sound physical and mental health.
  • Promoting universal loving kindness and compassion. We aim at working for the upliftment and general well-being of the poor, tribal and rural people and empowering individuals, especially women, children senior citizens and obtain them equal place in society.
  • Conducting courses on meditation, and providing degree and diploma courses in disciplines of Meditation and Yoga.
  • Developing free retreats and training centers for meditation, yoga, and all other allied subjects for the benefits of people.
  • Organizing conferences, workshops, seminars, and awareness meetings/camps on meditation, yoga, environmental conservation, matters of public interest, and health matters.
  • Realizing the dream of a healthy, harmonious, strong and prosperous humanity around the globe, free from the biases of the caste, creed, religion, region, corruption and violence, through propagation of oneness, compassion, meditation and Yoga.
  • Providing medical, emotional, psychological, social and spiritual support to senior citizens so that these highly honorable people should not be neglected.
